What are Twitch Drops?
Sky players are able to earn in-game rewards on Twitch by watching streamers who have enabled Drops on their channel! By signing in to Twitch and watching drops-enabled streams you can gain rewards for Sky! In order to collect your Twitch Drops, you’ll have to connect your Twitch account to Sky.
How do I connect my Twitch account to Sky?
Before you can claim your Twitch Drops for Sky, you’ll have to make sure your Twitch account is connected to your Sky account. You can link your Twitch account in-game by navigating to Settings > Account on your mobile device.
Twitch Drops cannot be claimed on the Sky Beta. Please unlink your Sky Beta account from your Twitch account before claiming your Twitch Drops.
How do I earn Twitch Drops?
Earning Twitch Drops is very simple: all you need to do is watch whichever Drop-enabled channel you’d like for a required time period. You’ll know that a channel has enabled drops if there is a message at the top of the chat about the Drop campaign and how to earn rewards for watching. Streamers will often use the DropsEnabled tag as well to let you know drops are available to earn.
You’ll be able to find your in-progress and earned Twitch Drops in your Twitch Inventory section. Access your Twitch Inventory by clicking on your account at the top-right of Twitch’s site and choosing “Drops & Rewards.”
Within a given campaign period, participants can earn each drop reward once. You can earn all of the Twitch Drops in one sitting, or spread out over the duration of the campaign. Keep up to date with Sky’s Twitch Drops by following us on our social media or joining the Sky community in our Discord.
How do I claim Twitch Drops?
Twitch Drop connectivity may vary by platform. You may continue the following process on your mobile device to redeem your rewards if you’re unable to claim rewards on your platform of choice.
Here’s how to claim your Twitch Drops after you’ve received the notification from Twitch that your Drop is ready to claim:
Make sure your Sky account is connected to your Twitch account.
On Twitch’s website, navigate to your Twitch Inventory by clicking Settings > Drops & Rewards.
Click the claim button for your Sky rewards.
Log-in to Sky and navigate to Settings > Account > Twitch Account and click on Check Twitch Drops.
Your claimed Twitch Drops will be added to your Sky account!
It may take up to 24 hours for Drops rewards to show up in-game.
Make sure to claim your Twitch Drops as soon as you can, as there is a limited timeframe to claim your rewards.
Note: Earned rewards will be shown in your Twitch Drops inventory on the Twitch website. The first Twitch Drop reward will trigger an in-game animation when earned, but the second and third rewards will not; we plan to add additional animations in a future update.
