Hello Sky Adventurers, new and old! Thank you for sharing this moment with us as we prepare and polish for Sky’s PC official release! We’ll be having Sky PC Steam Next Fest available for all Steam users, we hope you enjoy your stay with us!
Below you will find a list of common questions as you begin your Sky adventure with us on PC:
When is this available from?
Sky PC Steam Next Fest will be available starting October 9th - 16th at ~10 AM Pacific on the Steam Platform. Please check out our Sky social pages for any updates!
What are the minimum requirements?
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel i5-6400 or AMD FX 8310
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1030 or AMD Radeon RX 560
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 3 GB available space
- Additional Notes: Vulkan 1.3 Driver
Can I use my current Live Sky account to play on Sky PC Steam Next Fest?
Yes, and we encourage you to do so! First, be sure to link your current Live Sky account to Steam from your mobile device so you can transfer your progress. Log into your Steam account after, activate Sky PC, and enjoy!
Can my progress from Sky PC Steam Next Fest transfer to my original live Sky account?
Yes, you can connect an existing Sky account to Steam to continue your existing progress on both platforms! With Sky PC Steam Next Fest, you can “cross-play” between your PC and your usual Sky play device like mobile as long as it’s properly linked.
Oops, I accidentally started my Steam account with Sky PC Steam Next Fest and forgot to link it with my original account prior. How do I unlink and start the process over?
No worries, it can happen to the best of us! Follow the instructions below carefully:
Note: Be sure to have your original Sky account saved first with an external account like Google/AppleID/etc. before starting this process!
- Go to your mobile device and make sure you have updated Sky
- Start up Sky, choose ‘Sign In Method’ at the bottom
- Log in with your Steam account that you accidentally linked your Sky PC account to
- Go to the top right-hand corner in-game, hit the cog wheel for options
- Go to Account and link it to an extra or spare Game Service account (e.g.: another Gmail account) that is not associated with your original Sky account
- In the same Account window, hit the icon next to your Steam ID to unlink it and confirm
- Restart Sky, and choose ‘Sign In Method’ again at the bottom
- Log in with the appropriate external account your original Sky account is attached to
- After you verify you are back on your original Sky account, go to the top right-hand corner in-game with the cog wheel
- Go to Account, and link your Steam account properly
Congratulations, you are good to go and play Sky PC!

As a friendly reminder, this is a ‘test’ build on PC so we are still ironing out all the kinks, and we deeply appreciate your patience. You can also alternatively play Sky on your mobile device, or Switch and Playstation 4/5 if you are having issues progressing in-game and try the Sky PC again.
I’m having technical issues on my PC like crashing and lagging!

For crash-related issues, please have them reported in the #pc-demo-bug-reports channel of our official Discord server https://discord.gg/thatskygame. When getting the report submitted, please zip and attach your dump files to your report as this will assist us with our investigations. These files can be found in your Sky PC Demo directory where the game is installed.
We also recommend that you consider updating your hardware’s drivers to its latest version, especially your graphics card unit. You can also check out Steam’s troubleshooting page here:

Can I play Sky PC Steam Next Fest on my Steam Deck?
You absolutely can! While Steam Deck is currently unsupported, players are encouraged to try out Sky on the Steam Deck console.
Can I play Sky PC Steam Next Fest in my region?
As long as you can properly install Steam on your PC and it’s searchable in the game catalog within your region.
Can I buy anything from Sky PC Steam Next Fest yet?
We deeply appreciate your support! At the moment this is not available, but you can make purchases from Sky mobile, Switch, and Playstation if you are not new to Sky. If you are new, we welcome you!
Will the Steam Workshop be enabled?
Steam Workship is currently disabled and not available to ensure a more-stable PC experience.
Does Sky PC Steam Next Fest allow mods?
Third (3rd) party mods are not officially allowed. If you decide to do so please be cautious as it is at your own account security risk.
How do I change my language settings?
You can do this by right-clicking on Sky PC in the Steam client and going to ‘Properties’. Under ‘General’, there will be a language option that you can change to your choosing.
How do I change my keybinds?
There is currently no way to do this in-game of Sky. You may be able to do so in your Steam settings here by right-clicking on Sky PC in the Steam client and going to ‘Properties’ -> ‘Controller’.
Are controllers supported?
Yes, external controllers should work for Sky PC. As a friendly note, there are quite a number of controllers out there so some may not work quite as well as others.

How can I play with my Steam friends?
At this time, players are unable to share game invites within Steam, however, you can generate a friend code and share it with your friends via Steam messaging or on another platform. How does the Steam chat work in Sky?
To chat with other players in Sky we have multiple options available. Within the game, this feature can be unlocked between friends using in-game currency or is available for a limited time while sitting in a chat-enabling space such as a bench. Additionally, Steam’s Chat Client will function identically to other Steam-supported games. This chat client is a separate pop-out window that can be accessed while in-game. Using this feature you can only chat with your Steam friends via a direct message or voice call, you cannot connect with other Sky players via the Steam Chat Client.
