To access the unfriending feature, select the player’s star in your friend constellation and scroll up to where you will see a button to unfriend them.
What is the difference between blocking a player and unfriending a player?
Blocking a player should be used when you do not want to receive messages or do not want to interact with a certain player. Learn more about the Block feature at How do I block a player?
Unfriending a player should be used in any other situation where you are still comfortable with the player interacting with you.
With unfriending:
The unfriended player is removed from your Constellation.
All relationship abilities between you and the other person are disabled (including chat).
It’s possible to meet someone you unfriended. If that happens, you and the unfriended player will appear as strangers to each other if you meet again in-game.
If you light their avatar, there will be an icon over their head to indicate that they are someone you unfriended.
If you meet someone you unfriended, both of you have the option of rekindling your friendship at no additional Candle cost. All previously unlocked relationship abilities will be restored.
Important: Once you unfriend someone, this action cannot be reversed until you meet the player again in Sky to rekindle your friendship.
